Barbara Besal

Barb Besal is an Instructional Technology Specialist in Virginia Beach City Public Schools. She spent 16 years teaching high school chemistry for VBCPS before transitioning out of the classroom. In her teaching career, she embraced Modeling Instruction pedagogy and is a lifetime member of the American Modeling Teachers Association. She is also a longtime volunteer with and alumna of Destination Imagination, a nonprofit organization that promotes creative problem solving and teamwork through STEAM.
